This title brings together 40 black-and-white silver photographs, mainly taken in Brittany and Ireland. This exhibition was a great success in Poland (Olstyn and Poznan) a few years ago, and then in Ploubazlanec in the summer of 2025. An honorary diploma was awarded to the author by a Polish photographers’ union: an unexpected episode at the vernissage, which was, according to all accounts, an unforgettable moment.

Roger Moizan, a native of Saint-Quay-Portrieux, was born in Saint-Brieuc on August 18, 1942. From 1979 onwards, he embarked on a photographic journey in search of the views of simple people, to bear witness to the profound meaning of people and things.

His two main sources of inspiration are Brittany and Ireland. Roger Moizan delivers them to us unfiltered, without flash, without drone, in manual mode. His silver photographs offer a very different artistic approach to digital photography.
